Why do you need a tidy server cabinet?

While it may seem like a tidy server cabinet is only helpful for neatening up the office, there are actually genuine benefits to improving the set-up of your cabinet.

1) Easy Access
Instead of wasting time weaving through layers of cables to work out what’s what, easily find the root of the problem in a matter of seconds.

2) Prevent a Fire
After a while of usage, technology can get quite hot. If your server cabinet has cables draped all over the place and a build up of dust around them then it’s much easier for a fire to start.

3) Avoid Wear & Tear
Twisted and tangled cables are far more likely to get damaged over time, and overheating (from the causes mentioned above) can result in equipment needing replaced.
